Flutterbye Express

Colyn (oil) (2008)
I love this painting. I think I captured Colyn's spirit very well.

PIG LEG PETE
(Ribberfest Pigmania entry 2008 - acrylics)
I love his snarl.
The following is a series of little pigs that were on a mural that I did for a different year of Ribberfest and Pigmania. The mural was a backdrop for a float in the Regatta parade that year. We won a trophy for "best artistry"! :) I have to preface this series by saying these little pigs are not my own creation ... much as I wish they were ... but I can only take credit for re-creating them. The original illustrator's name I do not know. So, with that being said ... here they are, and I love them because they are so cute.

WELCOME TO MADISON, INDIANA
MAMA PIG ON VACATION
ABBY
I did this pet portrait for a friend in 2010. I was very happy with the way it turned out. Karen cried tears of joy when I gave it to her. Gotta feel good about that.
A DIFFERENT YEAR OF PIGGIES
PET PORTRAIT - SASSY
(oils) 2005
This portrait of Sassy was done after her death. She was an old lady and had bad cataracts, but I didn't paint those.
OH DANNY BOY, MY DANNY BOY, I LOVE YOU SO
And I 'll miss you most of all, when autumn leaves start to fall.
FROG BOG
So, again, I cannot take credit for the creation of these lovely fellows ... only the recreation of them. I painted these guys on the front panel of a toy chest for my godson, Jack Robert Luckett Ziesemer.
